Frozen Foods

We carry a wide variety of poultry, beef, pork and seafood. Our people focus on volume purchasing the most commonly purchased products around the globe. We leverage our depth of experience, market knowledge and size to gain sizeable discounts which are passed directly to our customers.

FMCG

We supply over 500 items including pasta, canned meat & fish, dairy, confectionery, beverages, personal care and household essentials. The majority of our assortment is “global brands” – around 80% of our products. The remaining 20% consists of exclusive brand products which are products that we’ve especially developed to match our high standards.

Food Commodities

We focus on the essentials such as rice, sugar, salt, wheat flour, maize flour and edible oils. We use our extensive distribution network and facilities to provide efficient service and a fast delivery to the market.

Retail

Ma Maison Supermarket

In 2008, the first “Ma Maison” store opened in Lubumbashi. With only 10 employees and about 500 products, this small store became the foundation of Ma Maison’s expansion. During the 2010’s, we began opening stores outside of Lubumbashi and within a few years, we had stores all across the Katanga region. We now operate more than 6 stores and are active in 4 regions, employing around 150 people. Our mission is to offer customers the highest quality products including fresh produce, meat, baked goods, snacks and much more at the lowest possible prices.

Ma Maison Frais et Congelé

We have completed the phasing out of Ma Maison Express and replaced it with Ma Maison Frais et Congelé, a new retail and wholesale store concept specializing in frozen products. The average size of a store is 200 square meters. Our goal is to offer the largest variety of low cost frozen meat and fish. With already 10 stores in Katanga, Liberty will add more stores in the DRC over the next five years.

Ma Maison Electronics & Furniture

Our passion for selling consumer electronics and furniture has defined us from day one. What started as a small retailer of consumer electronics has grown to become one of the largest retailers in the country. Our perseverance and hard work have paid off with 12 stores in 4 regions, employing over 140 people. With over 10,000 products to choose from leading global brands, HD and UHD speaker systems, home laundry supplies, refrigeration etc., we offer the latest product ranges at very competitive prices. Our wide selection of furniture lifestyles – from classic to contemporary – means costumers are sure to find the trend that speaks to their unique taste every time.

Ma Maison Machines

With stores in Lubumbashi and Kolwezi, Ma Maison Machines has become a leading DIY store chain, playing an important role as a competent and reliable partner for local DIY needs. The product range consists of more than 5000 classic DIY store items, including building and construction materials, both global brand names and private label merchandise at “best price” and reliable quality. Our concept is mainly targeting handymen, DIY enthusiasts, construction companies and mining companies.

Production

Furniture

Founded with a belief that furniture could be made in a better way using local raw materials, Liberty’s furniture factory is a Congolese success story over 5 years in the making. Today, Liberty Furniture manufactures furniture in 1,500m2 of dedicated factory space. Raw materials and finished products undergo extensive evaluations for durability, appearance, feel and overall performance. Products are sold by our own stores and other retailers. We also provide solutions for businesses and homeowners. Our sales and marketing team and in-house designers meet with customers to design and propose the most suitable interiors and products to suit their favorite designs and budget. They work closely with multiple departments to ensure efficient production, installation and delivery.

Butchery

Our butchery plant produces quality meat, sausages and cold cuts. Founded in 2015, we are today the largest supplier for Liberty and other retailers. Our goal is to prepare food that is delicious and safe. All of our products are prepared with an expert touch, maintaining the highest quality standards. We use only selected and carefully tested ingredients. Our employees are experts who deliver outstanding performance. Our skillful master butchers and food technology engineers combine traditional craftmanship with advanced technology.

Mon Marche Food Court

Launched in the summer of 2023 in Lubumbashi, Mon Marche is the first food court in the country offering a world-class fast food dining experience. Spread across 10,000 square feet, Mon Marche encompasses 5 different restaurant concepts that have been created by us, a children’s playground and so much more into one space! From the best burger and top steak to the finest gelato and authentic Roman-style pizza, dishes from all over the world are represented.
